Olin jo kauan ihastellut Log Cabin Socks -sukkamallia Handknit Holidays -kirjasta, mutta koska en millään halunnut hankkia kirjaa yhden ainoan ohjeen takia, päätin apinoida sellaiset omasta päästä.

Janne on aivan liian paksua sukkalankaa minun makuuni.

I had admired the Log Cabin Socks pattern from Handknit Holidays, but as I didn't want to buy the book for just one pattern, I decided to imitate them on the basis of photos found in the Internet. I didn't expect them to be perfectly identical to the original, I was rather fascinated with the cable pattern.

I knit the first sock already in the end of July. It waited for its mate until this weekend when I cast on and finished the second sock. I love the pattern itself and the socks are nice, but I'm afraid I won't be using them. The yarn is too thick to my taste.
