This is my first finished lace shawl ever. I love the beautiful pattern of the Swallowtail shawl, and I didn't even allow the famous nupps to scare me. In fact, the nupps were no problem at all as long as I picked them one by one onto the needle on the WS. And I didn't even use an Addi lace needle.

Green is actually not one of my colours, but as a green per se, it is a beautiful moss green. Today I gave the shawl as a gift for my sister-in-law, and this particular shade of green is one of her favourites.

My shawl is only 124 cm wide at the top edge and the height is 65 cm. I wonder, why my shawl turned out to be a lot smaller than, for example, the one (200 x 90 cm) of Mippe who knit her shawl from the same yarn and with needles of the same size. And I particularly concentrated on knitting very loose. I think I did the blocking properly, too - at least the pins were bended and flew out of the blocking base.
